Hillcrest Mine Disaster June 19, 1914 - Killed
One source gives the cemetery as the mass grave in Hillcrest but a newspaper article of the day said he was buried in Blairmore, Alberta. Blairmore is correct.
After the Hillcrest Mine Disaster
His mother is listed as a dependent. Address: Blairmore, Alberta.
Herbert's brother, William, married Margaret Ann Harris whom I believe was a sister of David John Harris, also killed in the Hillcrest Mine Disaster.
