Joseph is buried in the Hillcrest cemetery but not in the Mass Grave. A translation of his headstone reads: Monument / Josefu / Vohradskymu. He lost his young life in the mine explosion at Hillcrest, 19 Jun 1914 at the age of 24.

After the Hillcrest Mine Disaster

In 1917 Rosie Vohrodsky, widow, age 21, married George Fisher. age 37, at Michel, British Columbia. Her birthplace was Bohemia.
